Another Fckng Blue Zone is a darkly comic play, by playwright and filmmaker James Andrew Walsh, about paradise, privilege, and the quiet violence of wanting more. Elise and Robert, a British-American couple, are building their dream home in a Central American “blue zone,” chasing longevity, authenticity, and reinvention. Instead, they find themselves trapped in an unfinished concrete shell, plagued by stinking toilets, cultural resentment, and a decaying sense of purpose. When a mysterious, sheet-covered body appears on their patio—rumored to be a dead monkey, or perhaps something far worse—the couple’s brittle idealism begins to crack.
